Clean Air Catalysis
Our team has more than 20 years’s experience in automotive catalyst development “from ideation to industrialization”.
We use our chemistry and advanced materials knowledge to develop catalysts capable to improve indoor air quality as well as removing pollutants emitted by mobile and stationary vehicles to improve air quality in the cities.
Clean Energy Catalysis
Biomass conversion is a key technology we are focusing on, specifically to develop catalysts for tar decomposition at 550 -750 C.
We have capabilities to design, test and characterise catalysts for methane reforming, ammonia cracking and methanol reforming to produce green hydrogen used in SOFC, PEMFC for stationary and mobile applications.
Clean Living Catalysis
COVID face masks helped us avoid spreading the virus. Scientists estimate about 50 bn masks were not recycled.
This makes face masks a waste ticking bomb. BelgaLabo’s scientists work to find a safe way to dispose the face masks while avoiding byproducts or carbon emissions.
